Plan Setup

The support content is consistent across all plans. However, the plan is determined before the support begins, based on the estimated time required to resolve your technical challenges. This is done through a consultation between our company and the client.

Pay What You Want

Once the work is completed or a predefined milestone is reached, we will provide an estimated payment amount. However, the client is not obligated to pay the quoted amount. Instead, they can freely set their payment within the range defined by the plan's minimum amount and our quoted estimate.

Example:
Upon completing the predefined tasks for the STANDARD plan, we quote $300.
The client may choose to pay any amount between $213 and $300.

As a result, our proprietary metric, the Affinity Score(Link), which reflects the compatibility between the quality of our service and the client, is updated. If the client chooses to pay less than our quoted amount, the Affinity Score decreases proportionally. Once the cumulative score falls below a certain threshold, the client will no longer be eligible to receive our services.

Efficiency-Driven Down-Grade System

If the work is completed earlier than the initially anticipated duration during the contract period, the plan is automatically downgraded. Following the downgraded plan, the "Pay What You Want" system is applied, ensuring a fair and flexible pricing structure.

Example:
For a STANDARD plan task completed in 3 days, the plan is automatically downgraded to BASIC. We provide a quoted amount of $160. The client can freely set the payment between $53 and $160.

As a result, our proprietary metric, the Affinity Score, which reflects the compatibility between the quality of our service and the client, is updated. The downgrade itself has no impact on the Affinity Score. However, if the payment falls below the quoted amount for the BASIC plan, the Affinity Score will decrease accordingly.

If the work is not completed within the contract period

Even if the work is not completed within the initially anticipated duration during the contract period, the plan will not be automatically changed. The estimated payment amount provided by our company will be capped at the predefined maximum for the plan. This system is designed to eliminate any misunderstanding that the work is being unnecessarily prolonged.

Example:
For a BASIC plan task completed in 7 days, we provide a quoted amount of $160, which is the maximum value for the BASIC plan. The client can freely set the payment between $53 and $160.

As a result, our proprietary metric, the Affinity Score, which reflects the compatibility between the quality of our service and the client, is updated. If the payment falls below the quoted amount, the Affinity Score will decrease accordingly.

Monthly Free Support

With the BASIC plan, you can receive free support once a month.

Note:
This option is intended to allow you to evaluate the quality of our support in advance. Please be aware that, from a resource management perspective, consecutive use of free support will significantly decrease your Affinity Score.

Terms of Service and Agreements

When using our MATLAB®/Simulink® support services, we follow the policy outlined below for agreements and contracts:

1. Opt-In Consent
To begin our support services, we require a simplified opt-in agreement to our terms of service, which will be shared at the time of request.
2. Formal Contract
For long-term support or cases where confidential information must be shared, we will enter into a formal agreement, including an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).

AFFINITY SCORE


■ What is Affinity Score?

At the heart of our services lies the uniqueness of our founder, Yasu Mitsuhashi. To ensure that we can consistently deliver professional and high-quality support, we focus our resources on clients who are the best fit for our solutions.
While we strive to provide valuable solutions, we understand that perceptions of value can vary. If our professional work is not something that the client highly values, it becomes difficult to maintain a productive and meaningful collaboration.
To address this, we’ve introduced our proprietary metric, the Affinity Score. This score is continuously updated based on your interactions with our services. If the score falls below a predefined threshold, we will discontinue support for the client at the end of the contract period, and the client will no longer be eligible to receive support from us thereafter.
This system ensures that our resources are allocated to clients who truly recognize and benefit from our expertise. By focusing on these partnerships, we aim to deliver the greatest impact and maintain the professional standards that define our work.

■ Situations that increase the Affinity Score

Our company adopts a "Pay What You Want" system, allowing clients to freely decide their payment amount within the range between our quoted price and the plan's minimum set amount after the support is completed. The Affinity Score increases when clients choose to pay the same amount as our quoted price.

■ Situations that decrease the Affinity Score

The Affinity Score decreases if clients choose to pay less than our quoted amount. Additionally, consecutive use of the monthly free support also results in a decrease in the score.

■ Calculation and Visibility of the Affinity Score

The Affinity Score is calculated using our proprietary method, which is not disclosed. Additionally, clients' specific scores are not shared. However, if the score approaches the threshold set by our company, we will notify the client in advance.
